How to Book a Private Airport Transfer in Morocco: What to Send, When and Why
Flight number, riad phone, luggage, child seats… The exact information that makes an airport pick-up flawless, how far ahead to book, how payment and cancellation work, and what happens if your flight is late.
Booking a private airport transfer in Morocco takes a couple of minutes — but the details you send make all the difference between a good pick-up and a perfect one. Here is exactly what we need, why we need it, and how the rest works: confirmation, payment, cancellation and flight delays.
Step 1: choose your transfer
Start with the route: Marrakech airport to your riad or hotel, Casablanca airport to Marrakech, Agadir airport to Marrakech or to Taghazout. Each page shows the price per vehicle for each type of vehicle, so you know the cost before writing to us.
Step 2: send the right information
You can book through our online booking form or simply on WhatsApp. Either way, these are the details that matter:
- Names and a mobile number with WhatsApp. The driver’s sign will carry the lead passenger’s name, and WhatsApp is the easiest way to stay in touch on arrival.
- Flight number and scheduled arrival time. With the flight number, we track your plane in real time and adjust the pick-up automatically if it is early or late.
- Number of passengers, including children and their ages. Children need a seat — and often a child seat.
- Luggage: number of large suitcases and anything bulky — golf bags, surfboards, pushchairs, bike boxes, wheelchair.
- Exact accommodation: name, address and phone number of your riad, hotel or villa. For medina riads, this lets us find the closest drop-off point and coordinate with the staff.
- Special requests: child seats (free), a stop at a supermarket or ATM, a French- or English-speaking driver, a return transfer.
Step 3: confirmation
We reply quickly with a confirmation that summarises everything: date, time, route, vehicle, price and what is included. Check it carefully — especially the date for night flights landing after midnight, a classic source of confusion. A day or two before arrival, you receive the driver’s name and phone number.
How far ahead should you book?
- Regular transfers: a few days ahead is usually fine, and we can often help at short notice.
- High season (Easter, spring, October–November, Christmas and New Year): book one to two weeks ahead.
- Groups and the VIP minibus: two to four weeks ahead, especially for weddings and events.
Payment and cancellation
With us, there is no prepayment for standard transfers: you pay the driver on the day, in cash, in euros or dirhams. The price agreed in the confirmation is the price you pay — no surprises for luggage or waiting. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pick-up, and changes are easy: just message us on WhatsApp.
What if your flight is delayed?
Nothing to do. Because we follow your flight number, the driver arrives according to the real landing time. Waiting time is included for normal immigration and baggage delays. If your flight is cancelled or diverted, message us as soon as you know, and we will rearrange the transfer. Our guide to lost luggage and delayed flights covers the less common situations.
Meeting your driver
After customs, walk into the arrivals hall and look for your name on a sign. The driver helps with the luggage and leads you to the vehicle in the car park. If you cannot see him, send a WhatsApp message or call — and do not follow anyone offering a taxi. Read what to expect from a meet and greet service.
Booking the return
It is simplest to book both directions at once. For departure, we usually suggest leaving Marrakech city about three hours before an international flight; our departure day guide explains why.
Groups, events and multi-stop journeys
For weddings, incentive trips or several families arriving on different flights, send us the full list of flights and passengers in one message. We build a schedule that groups arrivals sensibly, assigns the right vehicles — comfort vans, the VIP Ford Tourneo Custom or our 17-seat VIP minibus — and gives you a single point of contact. The same applies to transfers with stops on the way, for example Casablanca airport to Marrakech with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque: tell us in advance so we can plan timing and price. Our guide to group arrivals for events and weddings gives more detail.
Common mistakes to avoid
- The wrong date for night flights: a flight landing at 1:30 am on the 15th means the driver comes on the night of the 14th to 15th.
- Forgetting the riad phone number: without it, coordinating with porters is harder.
- Underestimating luggage: one more suitcase can mean a different vehicle.
- Not mentioning children: child seats must be planned in advance.
In short
A good booking is a short message with the right details: flight number, passengers, luggage, accommodation and a WhatsApp number. We take care of the rest — tracking your flight, coordinating with your riad and waiting for you with your name. Ready? Use the booking form or send us a WhatsApp message.
