Inside Our VIP Minibus: Group Comfort for 8 to 17 Travellers in Morocco
Leather reclining seats, high roof, big windows, a step with handrail and a real luggage area: a tour of our 17-seat VIP minibus, who it is for, and how it makes group trips in Morocco easier.

Travelling as a group in Morocco — a big family, a wedding party, friends celebrating a birthday, a company team or a school trip — raises one question before all others: how do we keep everyone together, comfortably, with all our luggage? Our answer is our black VIP minibus. Every photo on this page shows the vehicle itself. Here is what it offers, who it is for and how to get the most out of it.
A minibus built for comfort
Our VIP minibus is a high-roof Renault Master fitted out for passenger comfort rather than maximum capacity. Climb aboard and the first thing you notice is the leather seats in black and red, each with its own headrest and reclining backrest. The layout leaves an aisle down the middle, so passengers can reach their seats without climbing over others.
Reclining leather seats and a central aisle: everyone has their own space.
Other details make a real difference on long drives:
- High roof: most adults can stand up straight inside, which makes getting in and out easy.
- Large windows: the scenery of the Atlas, the desert or the coast is part of the trip.
- Strong air conditioning for the heat of summer, and heating for winter mornings in the mountains.
- A step and a handrail at the door, appreciated by older travellers and children.
- Seat belts at every seat.
The entrance: a wide sliding door, a step and a handrail for easy boarding.
Luggage: the most underestimated question
A group of fifteen people often travels with fifteen large suitcases, plus cabin bags, pushchairs or golf bags. In a minibus, luggage goes in a dedicated area at the back, accessed by the rear doors, not on the seats or in the aisle. That means more comfort and more safety. As a rough guide, a full group can travel with one large suitcase each plus small bags; for very bulky equipment, we add a luggage vehicle. Our van luggage guide gives more detail.
Who is it for?
- Extended families — grandparents, parents and children in one vehicle, sharing the moments.
- Weddings and celebrations — guest shuttles between the airport, hotels and venues. See our group arrivals guide.
- Friends’ trips and birthdays, including evenings out — read Marrakech after dark.
- Companies and incentive groups — see our corporate chauffeur service.
- Golf and surf groups with their equipment.
- School and student trips — read our group transport guide for schools.
Where it goes
The minibus is used for all our main services:
- Airport transfers from Marrakech, Casablanca and Agadir — see our Marrakech airport transfer.
- Day trips to the Ourika valley, Imlil, Ouzoud, Essaouira or the Agafay desert.
- Multi-day tours to Aït Ben Haddou, the Dades and Todra gorges and the Sahara — our Merzouga desert tour works beautifully as a group trip.
- Van hire with driver by the day or the week — see van hire with driver.
Price per person: why groups save
Our prices are per vehicle, not per person. A minibus costs more than a van, but divided among twelve or fifteen travellers, it is usually the most economical option per head — and much simpler than coordinating three or four cars that inevitably get separated on the road. Ask us for a quote with your exact group size: the difference often surprises.
Minibus or two vans?
For groups of 8 to 12, both options are possible. Choose the minibus to keep everyone together and share the experience; choose two vans if the group may split up during the day — for example, some going to the souks while others relax by the pool. Compare our vehicles in choosing between a van and a minibus.
The driver makes the difference
A comfortable vehicle is only half of the experience. Our minibus drivers are experienced with groups: they plan breaks every two hours on long drives, know where to stop for clean toilets and good coffee, handle the narrow access points near medinas and keep to the schedule without rushing anyone. They are not licensed city guides, but we can arrange official guides for medina visits.
Booking tips for groups
- Book early: two to four weeks ahead in high season, more for weddings.
- Send the full passenger list with ages, flights and luggage.
- Plan meeting points: for medina riads, cars stop at the nearest access point — see getting to your riad.
- Share special needs — child seats, reduced mobility, dietary requests for long days.
In short
Our VIP minibus turns group logistics into part of the pleasure: everyone together, comfortable seats, room for the luggage and a driver who knows the road. Tell us how many you are and where you want to go, and we will build the right plan — with a fixed price per vehicle.
